Yes, but there are lots of people that don't have the luxury of "ringing a doctor." At least not here. I am not trying to be snarky or mean spirited. I guess when I hear that advice, when we say, "call YOUR doctor," it rings hollow because a lot of folks don't have that.
Again,I don't know the right answer, and I am heartsick about this loss. I wish the sponsor had driven back, and helped this man get medical support. He wanted sobriety desperately.
