I'm not worried. Just a bump in the road. I'm a survivor and will get through this. Not making light of this but I know me and I've been through a lot worse than this and know I will come out on top.
I know some people on this forum will support me and I appreciate it very much. But let's face it guys, when the day is done, all you have is you. It's the inner strength that really makes the difference. Strength comes from within, not from the outside. It's kinda like lifting weights. Other people can encourage you to lift those weights saying you can do more, but the bottom line is you have to lift those weights, even when nobody's around.
Alcoholism is a lonely place sometimes, and it's important for an alcoholic to be prepared for those times. Self reliance is essential for any alcoholic. Like the Serenity Prayer says, it is the what it is. John
