roller coaster day
Morning started off tough. Had to deal with a jerk. No problem so far. Things went better after that. Nice people. Then ended up having to deal with people with real nasty attitudes. Now I'm thinking about drinking, Later on, had some nice interactions and things looked up. No thoughts of drinking. Had some fun times with a few people, so all is good. Ended the day with a bunch of people with nasty attitudes . Had to do with honesty and trust. Kinda lost it with them. They didn't get it why I was so upset. To them stealing and dishonesty is a way of life. To me, values and ethics are priorities. Even when I drank, these things were priorities, although I didn't always follow them. The Serenity Prayer helps a lot with this, but sometimes a time out is needed, so I drank. John
