Wanting never ending happiness or numbness was what i was doing with alcohol , it didn't work .
Accepting that pain and illness are part of the deal with life made me happier about the whole experience .
Up's and down's they will happen but i can own it and live it fully sober which ever way the die is cast . There is no turning back .
