Congratulations on Day 25 and counting! That is awesome. For now, be happy that you are "growing up." Life can be just as much fun sober. Having said that it may be a bit difficult to stay sober around those drinking in early sobriety. For now I think it would be wise to stay away from the garage parties. After you feel confident in your choice not to drink, or when occasions come up, go, have fun and drink something nonalcoholic like a coke, OJ. or tomato juice. Most people don't care if you're drinking or not as long as you are having fun and have a drink in your hand. Once you feel it needs to be spoken about, pick a good time and talk to your husband about your feelings. I am lucky that after getting drunk together, my husband did quit drinking also.
