Good job on 8 days Cohiba. Getting through weekends is the hardest part, for sure.
I'm starting to realize the same thing as you, that people really don't care/notice if I'm not drinking. Maybe they do when orders are being taken and I order a club soda, but other than that, it's not a discussion topic. The people I've been around who are drinking haven't been getting drunk, but I know that if I'd been drinking with them, odds are good I'd have gotten drunk.
I think you're doing the right thing checking in here. I've been doing the same over on the Daily Support section on the One Year and Under thread and the February 2015 thread. Might be worth you trying that too.
I'm finding that even if it's me being accountable to an anonymous online message board, it's better than being accountable to nobody, and it definitely helps.
And you aren't being selfish at all by having this thread dedicated to you, haha, that's what I think SR is here for.
