well I may get myself a hepa filter for my vacuum cleaner for my birthday - 50 bucks. I was concerned when the wife asked me what the noise was. Not sure if she understands how to operate it after that comment... meile callisto model - you have to turn on the rug attachment by flipping the switch my dear... it still is quieter than my ultra quiet sometimes working dishwasher.
