Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Ruebens have corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing? If so , that's a sodium bomb which is why I don't eat or cook them. That written, they're probably quite tasty.
A few years ago I spent some time trying to perfect a personal recipe for pastrami which is smoked corned beef. I reached the "okay" stage before I decided that I had to cut eating sodium laden food so often because I was constantly taste testing.
