It is a big priority but I am waiting til I get paid to do something nice for them
Why don't you do something nice for your family that doesn't require money? I'm sure they would appreciate it. Even if they haven't been directly affected by your abuse of alcohol and use of illegal drugs, they definitely have been affected indirectly. It would be a nice gesture.
