I recall when I was young, my dad drank and we was always on tender hooks wondering what he would be like, if mum would get the arguments the nastiness and all that went with his drunkeness.
It affected me and my brothers and sister, which for one, I carried with me most of my life, in fact I became him and drank and got awkward and nasty.
