Together we stand united we are
Always at hand never too far
My dear friends i love you you're one of a kind
There's nothing above you always in mind
Poems & odes were my saviour of life
I tried other threads But nowt would suffice
We poured out our hearts cried a lot too
But getting through that made me anew.
Dee was a godsend his comment made sense
Went to my docs anti ds to commence
Once they kicked in i felt more like myself
Slowly i nursed myself back to health
All it doth take is a kind lending ear
Once we commit there is nothing to fear
For we all fight this battle called alcoholism
The stigmas attached with such scepticism
We all must keep striving for sobriety
Hell! we've overcome such adversity
So join hands my friends from oceans apart
Cos each of you here have a place in my heart
