Yes, and right now I'm playing phone tag. The cardiologist is trying to increase my blood pressure meds so as to avoid a stroke, heart attack, etc., keeps calling me and leaving messages to call him but when I call him I only get his message machine. So much is delegated out to a "nurse practitioner". I have suggested that they might communicate by mail. The frustration only increases the illness that they are trying to treat. If this continues I shall have to request an office appointment. A far cry from the "old days"!
