That sounds like a good idea, FG. I work in a windowless office and break up my day from time to time with walks. I think it helps. A colleague has just left so I'm going to ask to move to her office, which has a window. Sunlight makes a difference for me.
Little of any great interest to report from here. The Great (By My Standards) Kitchen Rehab of 2014 starts next week. I mentioned it some time back. When I bought my place, I swore getting rid of the backsplash tile was the first thing I'd do. Well, 11 years later, it's finally happening. It will be a beastly task to remove the existing backsplash, which looks like a giant baby shower invitation. The interceding period won't be pretty but it'll be worth it all in the long run.
(Of course, now I'm wishing I could replace the existing cabinetry with maple cupboards but my name ain't Venecia Rockefeller ... maybe someday.)
