Grateful today for my calm demeanor in the face of what could be considered life's storms. School is wrapping up basically. I'm looking for work. My mom is probably going to have to have knee surgery. And I'm putting together an NA luncheon for professionals. But I'm feeling good about it all for the most part, although I'm not looking forward to the prospect of my mom bringing home narcotics.
Grateful for finally getting my Eighth Step done last Monday and being able to move on, even though I'm somewhat fearful about Step Nine. When we went over Step Eight, it turned out I didn't need to make as many amends as I thought, at least not in the areas I thought. And I just had a good sit-down with my sponsor, which is rare because she stays really busy.
