safeandsound, I can totally relate to your post. In the past, I would have tried to fix all my problems at once...the weight, organize my house, work, exercise...and this time I think I need to just "fix" the drinking first. Even though I am overweight, which KILLS me, I am not restricting calories until I reach what I would consider to be a stable point in my sobriety. Then, with a clear head (which, on Day 6, I don't have yet), I want to add weight loss as a second priority. I'm not sure if it will work, but I do know that taking on too much all at once is a recipe for failure for me. Good luck to you. :-)
