Doctor's visit.
For the first time in I can't remember how long, I did not dread, or cancel, or reschedule, my annual physical. With some sober time under my belt, I went in feeling much more confident than usual. The result? I've lost 25 pounds AND my blood pressure meds were TAKEN AWAY!!!! Yes, I said that. Although I need a recheck next week, I am WNL without meds- and I am on cloud 9!!!!
The only real change has been no alcohol since July 11, but as a result of having my wits about me, I am eating better and more active physically. But with this jumping off point, who knows where I can be in a few more months???
Again, my thanks go to this forum for the support and wisdom to get to this point.
