There are actually detox nutrition plans. You can try Google. I found that most of them suggest a high carbohydrate intake for about a month. Makes sense, alcohol is a sugar - so to keep the brain happy, carbohydrates are the go-to choice. Helps with cravings.
My general nutrition plan has evolved after losing 70 pounds and keeping it off many years ago, so I am on the watch. It's still difficult for me to keep carbs low at six months sobriety - but my main goal right now is to stay in my calories and try to limit ice cream and eat enough protein.
Not saying I am able to do that 100%, but that is my goal.
