Just wanted to share an update. I went to a general doc this afternoon, and she seems to think it is something like a compressed/inflamed nerve(s), not neuropathy. She said neuropathy happens in both feet at the same time. She said we would wait a month and see how things progress. I have to say I am relieved... but didn't some of you say you had it in just one foot or hand?

They drew blood to check my B and thiamin levels, if I'm anemic, etc. too.

I think I am doing pretty good, wrapping up day 6, the shakes seem to be subsiding, I feel more level headed.

Been to the acupuncturist twice, also, which seems to help.

Still occasionally thinking about getting a bottle of wine, just one glass... But the cravings aren't too strong luckily.

I told my estranged husband I quit. He said he's been trying too, I asked for how long and he said a couple of days. I know for a fact he went drinking last night. More lies. THAT makes me want to drink.

But, no, I will stay on this winning streak. For ME.
