It sounds like you're ready to make some changes in your life. You seem to know that your life would be much better without alcohol.
My suggestion would be to join the June newcomers thread, to start your journey with others who have also come to this realisation, and want to be sober.
You can make this happen, but it will help to have as much support as possible. So perhaps a good first step would be to decide who will be on your "team".
I hope this will be a transition day for you, to healthy, sober, fabulous future.
