I have had similar experiences...though not all of my recent (past year or so) detoxes have been awful. Some worse than others, depending on the length of bender - number of bottles of vodka consumed. I have noticed that my blood pressure is high after drinking, even in "moderate" amounts. It comes down after a few days, though.
