Don't we all wish we were the people our dogs think we are......or perhaps they see only the best in us. We could all learn a lot from those beautiful creatures.
I believe that God put dogs on this earth to teach us how to love. And because they already do it perfectly......they don't have to stay as long.
Lucky lucky dog to have had a warm place to curl up, a human buddy to scratch those spots that are hard to get to, and a full belly.
I'm so sorry that you lost your dear friend but I imagine that your life was enriched by knowing him.
