I just got a good reminder from a friend in another state. she said "Was your Christmas better without having some a$@#! there ruining everything?"
It's true, it is much better. I've always wanted a dog, and I adopted one right after I filed for divorce. I don't miss the axh today, I'm just still angry at all the damage he caused. I can't wait until I can look back at these posts next year when all the anger is gone and I've completely healed emotionally....and my finances are better so I can spend Christmas someplace really nice!
