I retracted what I was starting to type as it was a serious bummer. Instead I will say that I'm dealing with the effects of a seriously negative event that happened in my community. The ripple effects are causing me to think about some negative things that happened many years ago around this time. I'm trying to take care of myself, not to make any big decisions, going to counseling today (thank goodness!), and I'm not going to drink....no matter what
I'm hoping to get some last minute shopping in despite the crowds tonight but I think seeing happy people will do me good.
