What a wonderful letter! I re-read it several times. All of it is true - we are worth it, and really, nobody can make us happy but ourselves. When my AH was in jail for 2 years, I actually felt pretty good, in PEACE. I took my kids on vacations, we went to museums, kids parties, we painted and even at night, when they were asleep, I was not lonely. I felt good. I felt so good without him
