6 months. Wow. That's half a year.
I can say without any reservations, hesitation, what-ifs, or otherwise that 6 months ago today I made a decision that has been the key to getting me on a path of better mental, physical, and spiritual health.
And, thanks to you all--and I mean each and every person that has ever posted in this thread--I've been able to remember that decision, and get stronger everyday with my resolve to just be me, and not a drunk, soak, rummy, or alcoholic. I may be all those things, and will be for the rest of my life--but being sober means I don't have to identify myself as such.
It's a great feeling.
