Red face

Alcohol is very irritating to our GI tracts (and most other bodily systems). The problem does not go away when we drink, we are just intoxicated and don't notice.

Yes, nausea is common the day after drinking, it's called a hangover!! And thankfully I don't experience those anymore!!

There are many health problems alcohol can cause or aggrivate in the GI tract, bleeding ulcers, Barrett's esophagus, hiatal hernias, cirrhosis, hepatitis, and pancreatitis, to name a few!! Best to seek the advice of a medical professional, and give an honest accounting of your alcohol intake.

Wish you well. And if you ever want a solution to your alcohol problems, try visiting a local AA meeting!!
