I was a Buddhist for many years, about eight would be my guess. I moved away from it before my problems with alcohol started, but I think it'd be quite interesting to see where Buddhism & recovery intersect and compliment each other.
Hope I'm able to catch your story tomorrow. I've been coming to this site for years now--off and on. Yet I never get the least bit tired of hearing people's stories. They help keep me going.
