Making the statement that “it is impossible for a person to drink voluntarily after making a big plan” is just not true. It is contradicted by all sorts of people posting here on SR. I have no reason to question their honesty or sincerity. The problem I have with this sort of absolute statement (yours or Trimpeys) is not so much that it is simply not true, but that it denies the very experience of some who attempt to follow this method. I find this denial disrespectful, and unhelpful. I’m frankly not surprised that it’s unsupported.
Well, is it science or faith that determines "You will never ..." is equivalent to "It is impossible for you to voluntarily ..."?
