I had been drinking for 30 years, but I didn't get any good at all at it for 20 years. For the last ten years of my drinking career, it was daily, and 20 oz of vodka. I don't think I ever refused an alcoholic drink because of what it was, so I was an 'informed' consumer of craft beers, red wine, single malt scotch, port, you name it. Smirnoff vodka was by far what I drank most.
