Jfred, I was in the same boat when I quit. I am fairly sure that when you speak to the psychiatrist in the morning, s/he's just going to tell you to go to the hospital.

Don't force yourself to sit through the night. I finally took a cab to the hospital at 3am after trying to avoid it for four hours. They gave me an IV which hydrated me, some anti-naseau meds, some vitamins, and some stuff to prevent seizures. Took maybe an hour and a half and it was worth it. I felt better, came home and slept for the next couple days.

Please don't worry about what the doctor will do/think/say. Mine may not have been super impressed, but he was nice about it anyway. And I never had to see him again. I was home and warm again in less than 2 hours, but without the fear.
