Congratulations on your path of thinking. You know it's doable reading all the posts on this site. I'm also a firm believer in attending AA meetings where people also understand where we are coming from. Being honest with ourselves is perhaps the # 1 ingredient in sobriety and not picking up that first drink. Another big one so many of us face on a regular basis is the shite fairy in our heads telling us things like just one, it'll be OK this time, have one on a full belly, it's Friday night and you deserve it and what will your friends think and on and on.
