I was worried about days like this...
I was at work when I got frantic texts from my mom who was in hysterics over a family emergency. Had to stop what I was doing to get on Skype and try to help her from half way across the world. Just when that happened, one of my students start hitting another teacher and calling her a stupid f###ing b**ch. Worked through my lunch to write a 13 page report. Still haven't heard back from my dream job that I interviewed for.
Normally, I would have collapsed under the stress, booked it outta work and drank. Not today. I am over 4 months sober. I can't control anyone's behavior but my own. Right now I in bed and I am alcohol free and going to sleep. Another small victory...
