I've been on the site for 17 days.. started day one when I decided to get my life together and quit drinking. in 2 1/2 weeks I have met many friends through the forums and chat. It is VERY helpful. Quite unbelievable when you think about total strangers that reach out and try and help other people that have experienced similar problems with alcoholism. My advice.. come here a few times a day minimum. Check in, even if you lurk. Start posting and chatting.. even better. I honestly don't think I could have gone this far..(even though it is very early in my recovery).. without this community..
