Thru family intervention I spent 28 days
in a recovery rehab for alcoholism allowing
that time to be taught about alcoholism
and how it affects our bodies, mind and souls.
Special, useful tools of recovery to incoperate
in my everyday life.
During my time in treatment, my spouse
who is not an addict, followed some helpful
suggestions passed onto him by removing
all traces of alcohol in the house before I
returned home.
For that and him, im truly grateful for those
actions taken allowing me to focus on what
I learned in treatment and not be tempted
my alcohol in the home.
That was 22 yrs. ago and im grafefull for
the gift of knowledge about addiction and
the love, care and concern of my little family
to get me help I so desperately needed at
that time in my life.
Recovery work because I work and live it
a day at a time.
