I joined here and put down the drink that night. I utilized the Rational Recovery/AVRT "method". I also see a therapist and of course post here.
Discovering this forum already gives me hope. It's really nice to be able to post something here and have someone who's been through it respond, and the chat room is fantastic as well. I'm hoping to get to see my doctor quickly and that I won't have bad detox symptoms until then; my hangover already feels significantly better than it did earlier today.
