How many times have I fallen for the "promise" of alcohol (in my case)?
The answer is LOTS of times, but it has never KEPT its promise. My life has been compromised time and time again by this devil, and still I hope. Meanwhile I have people in my life who keep their promises and they have suffered with me.
When am I going to see this addiction as the evil in my life? I am trying, and listening to others who have been to Hell and back; none of them can say that addiction lived up to what is promised.
