I found out that wheat-based foods are as addicting for me as booze. I cut out the wheat (and indeed, most other grains) and lost 15 pounds in a month. I also cut sugar down to the barest minimum. The carbs seem to behave just like alcohol for me.
Unfortunately, I got off the carb/sugar wagon a few months ago and the 15-lbs. have reappeared. Time to go through some carb/sugar withdrawl again...
