I would often sit and wonder why I hadn't gotten the spiritual experiences that everyone spoke about, and then I would have people tell me I was different - then ask myself if that was the change, if that was it? Clearly having the mental obsession lifted and having a full, content life is something that I never could do on my own...so something had happened without me being there!
