Decided I want to perfect the 5 mother sauces so I pulled out the Joy of Cooking. I made my first real Béchamel sauce today. So simple yet so delicious. Turned a bit into a truffled cheese sauce.
I think we more than deserve to think about US.
Your sauce idea is a good one. I am working on making delicious veggies. A sort of veggie expert. I also wish I could make a good pitcher of iced tea. For some reason mine never turns out right so I quit trying years ago. I just get it at restaurants. How tough could it be though? Back to the drawing board at some point I guess, lol.
