Certainly people can gather and enjoy having social meetings without causing problems with more AV.
It's whenever the meetings become conditional requirements to remain alcohol free that additional AV is created. AVRT is not really workable in a group sense. Individuals can of course gather and share whatever for any number of reasons and still preserve essential AVRT.
This entire forum is proof that discussing AVRT experiences and insights is very helpful and rewarding. Being social is quite alright with AVRT, lol.
