I totally agree. I don't have a disease and I'm most certainly not powerless. I intentionally pour the crap down my throat. It is very much a choice. And the whole disease idea? I just can't buy it. Yeah, excessive alcohol/drug intake causes some pretty rotten physical symptoms. But drinking is not caused by some incurable disease that can only be healed by faith healing and lifelong attendance at meetings. Could you imagine a doctor giving such a prescription for the treatment of cancer? So illogical.
