Great job Dan and great post.
While I have not been as busy as you, I have made great strides in getting back out into society and the working world.
(and ditto on the first year struggles, my mother had been ill for much of this year and she died earlier this month. I am the executor of estate and would not have been able to handle this living as I was.)
