Ok, so try not to panic if you don't hear from him for a couple of days. My guess is that if the infection becomes 'angry' again, it will take a couple of days to do so....and then he will reach out. He understands the consequences now of ignoring the symptoms, so I'm sure he will have the presence of mind to call you or go to the ER. For now all we can do is pray....and pray we will!
