Yes, & I remember saying this to AH at one point before he got sober. Just matter-of-factly.... if I were to meet you now I wouldn't have anything to do with you, you aren't at the same person that I met & fell in love with. It was a sad realization when I heard it come out of my mouth. It made me realize that I really needed to seriously consider leaving the relationship, that my reality was very far from my intention/expectation.
