Today marks 22 years clean/sober for me, and July marked 13 years active in Alanon/codependency recovery.
I am so incredibly grateful that recovery has helped me get through some very difficult periods, including this latest horrendous event.
Recovery is possible. You just have to want it with all your heart.
AD is working today, and will be seeing her therapist tomorrow. The pain from her physical wounds seems to be finally easing up.
Again, thanks to all for your prayers and kind thoughts. I have no doubt that this wonderful support from all of you is helping both AD and me begin to heal from this.
