It sucks trying to be in a relationship with an alcoholic or addict. Because your normal emotional needs never get met, your normal needs for security never get met, and you never feel validated. You will never get back from it what you put into it. NEVER.
Thanks for the share and especially the part about church. Because I need to start going back. When I stopped going it was part of how I abandoned myself a few years back.
