You tell your story
Mine sounds the same
I am not alone
In this endless game
I feel locked up
I have crossed the line
Where I cannot decipher
What's yours and what's mine
Where I used to love
I have turned numb
Without them
What will we become
At first I am weak
Suffering pain unreal
Playing hide and seek
In dreams surreal
My fear is strong
When I give it life
To my drug
I have become it's wife
If I let go
What do I gain
So I've held on
To what remains
A thread of hope
I must find in me
Love myself
And set you free
Because I love you
I will do my best
To go deep inside
And leave the rest
Because I love me
I can give
Without losing
My will to live
This life that is yours
It's human and wild
Never forget
You are but an innocent child
I reach out
In my darkest hour
I wake up
And take back my power
The mind is troubled
The body is shaken
The soul is pure
The spirit awakens
I will not wait
For my happy ending
I have a heart
That is worth mending
