One thing I found very helpful too was to try to stay in today as much as possible. I can over think anything if I give myself permission, and I have spent far too much time regretting the past or future tripping. It takes work and practice, but I found if I catch myself doing either, I remind myself that it accomplishes absolutely nothing and try to put my mind to things that might take me out of the obsessive worrying state.
