Hi, and welcome to the board.

I can't give out medical advice -- I'm not a MD. But I think a MD needs to be in the loop. It's entirely possible she may have to be admitted to a behavioral health unit to wean safely. Coming off those things is going to be a nightmare, and the more professional help you have, the better off you're going to be.
