Willie,

I agree with TC about taking a class. I really wanted to, but could only find daytime classes. And since I have a day job, I couldn't. So I bought some books, joined some photography forums, and searched out all the information I could find. It was a slow learning process and I think taking a class would speed it up considerably.

TC is also right about just getting out there and shooting. Once you understand the basics of how shutter speed, aperture, and ISO work, then it's all down to practice. Like everything in life, don't get discouraged, learn from your mistakes, and keep on going!

TC-I hope you feel better soon! Can't wait to see more Thailand photos!
